သို႔.... မွေဇာ္ေဇာ္ေအာင္(၃)

Hi buddies,

Today again , we are celebrating our Burmese water festival Thinn Gyan. In Burmese tradition it is called “ a tet nai” , in fact the last day of water festival at Heli-deck.

Every one is enjoying with full spirit.I need to add a little bit of Thinn Gyan definition, it is derived form the pali word“sankanta” which means transition. Tomorrow will be our New Year. In Thailand, people call it Songkran. We, the Yetagun crews include Thais as well , they also participated eagerly.

This time of special moment. Our catering crews prepared Mont Lone Yaypaw which is very traditional food. Every one on board enjoyed it very much.

Our last day of Thinn Gyan was not only celebrated by our Yetagun personnel but also form our supply boat Swan Tide, the crews form Swan Tide arrived at our Platform just before tea break and they were enjoying with some Mont Lone Yaypaw and after that they took part in
our water festival.

Moreover, we have Karaoke section tonight and most people are enjoyed peacefully and welcoming to the coming new year.
Cheers, ZZ

Hello Buddies,

Happy Thinn Gyan Festival!

Today we celebrated our Yetagun Thinn Gyan started after evening tea break until late. It was very fantastic celebration and everyone on board enjoyed very much the first day of our traditional water festival.

The show was live and amused with non-stop music under the twilight. Most of nationalities enjoyed it including our OIM and supervisors. The Thais lead by Surachi also participated in the celebration actively. And also the most active part was lead by our crew member Ye Lwin., the dancer, from Yetagun organized some live dance.

Catering Crew also provided all kinds of drinks including Soda water; Tonic drinks 100 plus, Diet Cola, Coke and many more.

We have to say sorry for those who left Yetagun who can’t enjoy our traditional water festival. We will continue on tomorrow at the same time at the same place.

Cheers,

ZZ
